Assurant is proud to announce we’ve extended our relationship with Lloyds Banking Group further, as we become the new partner for their Digital Helpline service.

Like Lloyds Banking Group, Assurant is committed to increasing people's digital confidence and capabilities by equipping them with the tools, knowledge, and support they need to thrive in a connected world.

The Digital Helpline is designed to enable digital inclusivity and access, helping Lloyds’ customers along with their families and friends, be confident and capable when using the internet. This isn’t just in relation to online banking, but completing other everyday online tasks such as booking a doctor’s appointment, using social media and shopping for essentials.

Free tablet and telephone support

Assurant will provide a critical role in delivering the Digital Helpline. When customers contact Lloyds for support, we will send them a free tablet which is pre-loaded with a SIM card supplied by Vodafone, giving them 40GB of data per month and access to the internet for 6 months.

A member of our newly formed Digital Helpline operations team will then contact the customer to help them set everything up.

Our team will also be on hand for customers to provide essential ongoing support over the phone. Advisers can offer assistance around a wide of range of topics including downloading apps, accessing key local services online, managing bills and helping to set up for other connected devices.
