To actively participate in strengthening the communities in which we live and work around the world, while running our business with significant environmental commitment, we focus on community giving, responsible investment, climate action and reducing energy consumption, emissions and waste production. Supporting our communities through donations and volunteerism increases employee engagement and reinforces our commitment as responsible corporate citizens. Our philosophy of giving to the community is summed up in five words: Assurant cares about you. Assurant recognizes that climate change poses real and substantial risks to the communities we serve, our business, our industry and our planet. In addition to reducing our own environmental impact, we have a responsibility to our stakeholders to research and promote responsible climate action.

To achieve our high level of consumer engagement, let's embed our customer-focused corporate culture across all partners globally; leveraged common customer experience tool sets including measurement boards throughout our entire enterprise; and we held a corporate forum to provide learning and visibility into the progress of our customer experience programs to the leadership team.
